We are not accepting any more abstract for 2026.
We are inviting researchers, academics, industry experts, professionals and research students to submit an abstract (max. 200 words) by completing the following form.​​​​

Registration Fee (non-refundable)
• Route 1: BDT 1050/- for students with basic research skills or those who have completed CRISAT Level 1 Research Skill Training.
• Route 2: BDT 2100/- includes a 4-week training program on
Level 1 - Research Skill and Academic Writing Training.

Eligibility: Must be a student of any Undergraduate (BSc/BA) programme in textile and fashion (Or within 6 months of course completion during the date of registration)

Guideline for Level 1:
-
Complete your Registration by 20 July 2026
-
Attend two online sessions for rout 1 & 2 and an additional 4-week training on Level 1 - Research Skill and Academic Writing Training to be delivered by CRISAT during July/August 2026
-
Select any textile and fashion topic or process, sub-process or relevant machine, for example, advances in sizing, warping, winding, carding, drawing, combing, spinning, weaving, weft insertion, knitting, scouring, bleaching, dyeing, printing, finishing, fabric cutting, sewing, inspection, packaging and any other topics from fashion and textiles. Chose just one topic/area that interests you the most.

Carry out literature research in your chosen topic to identify the technological innovations in terms of sustainability.

Prepare and submit a technical essay (minimum 500 words) based on your literature review on your chosen topic without help of any AI tools like chat GPT by 15 September 2026.

Information on Level 2:
-
20 participants will be shortlisted based on the submitted essay.
-
Enhance your essay and convert it into a short article following the guideline to be provided during the research workshops and submit by 30 September 2026 for publication in the TRC Book of Paper (ISSN : 2413-9629)

Give a 5-minute presentation in front of a panel of judges in the first week of October 2026 (The judges panel will include University Teachers from different universities in Bangladesh and Senior Researchers from around the world).

Five (05) shortlisted participants will be invited to present in front of the audiences and judges at 7th Textile Research Conference (TRC) on 31st November 2025
-
Ten (10) Shortlisted participants will be invited to exhibit posters at the 7th Textile Research Conference (TRC) on 31st October 2026.

Awards:
-
Top 3 contestants from the Oral Presentation Category and Top 2 contestants from the Poster Exhibition Category will be awarded with trophy, certificate and Prize Money (Amount to be confirmed as we are still discussing with sponsors).

All 20 contestants shortlisted from level 1 will be given individual certificate of acheivement.
